Vanoise.

I know very little about the Vanoise. Even though I'm aware it's a magnificent massif, renowned for its many glaciers and legendary summits like the Grande Casse and Mont Pourri, I've explored it far too little. The reason is twofold and quite personal: on one hand, some areas are heavily marked by the infrastructure of large ski resorts, and on the other, wild camping is strictly forbidden in the heart of the National Park. This makes multi-day trekking, the way I enjoy it, virtually impossible. I still hope to have the opportunity to go in the future, to enjoy its landscapes on fine day hikes or for some mountaineering.
