Ubaye.

You can already feel the Southern influence when arriving in the Ubaye valley. It's one of my favourite destinations for multi-day treks, along this Italian border where historic fortifications bear witness to the past. A land of contrast between raw mineral landscapes and high-altitude lakes, all dominated by the Brec de Chambeyron, the valley offers a sense of tranquillity and isolation that I particularly cherish.
