Taillefer.

A small massif nestled between Belledonne, the Écrins, and the Vercors, the Taillefer is crowned by its eponymous summit. I wouldn't claim to know it well, but I've had the chance to explore its plateau several times. With its multitude of small lakes and low-growing vegetation, it forms a landscape reminiscent of distant tundra or steppe, an unusual setting found nowhere else in the Alps.
