Landscape photographs of Ruitor

Straddling the border between France and Italy, the Ruitor remains a preserved and little-visited massif for the Northern Alps. It reveals its full character in autumn, when the gold of the larches (rather rare in the northern Alps) and the red of the bilberry bushes contrast with the glaciers that border the lakes directly. In this high-mountain setting dominated by the Tête du Ruitor and the Grand Assaly, one also enjoys privileged viewpoints over the imposing Italian face of Mont Blanc.
